A classic Spanish style villa with land plot surface of 3.424 sq.m. with and a total built area of 713 sq.m. is located in Sotogrande, Spain (read about this resort below). The villa contains seven bedrooms each equipped with a separate combined sanitary facility (bath, shower, and toilet), all the rooms have separate AC. The master bedroom (38 sq.m.) is located on the 2nd floor, where there is also an outdoor terrace (69 sq.m.), a covered loggia (3 sq.m.), an office (28 sq.m.), a clothesroom (7 sq.m.), and toilet and shower (4 sq.m.). Two bedrooms (25 sq.m. and 16 sq.m.) are located on the first floor in the right wing of the villa. Each bedroom has a separate passage to the main courtyard of the villa looking like a large open terrace paved with tiles and enclosed with a balustrade, with passes to the garden, to the outdoor pool and to children's playground (terrace area is about 300 sq.m. and is not included into the total area of the villa). Each of these both bedrooms also has an passage to its own small internal garden with approximate area 16 sq.m. (not included into the total area of the villa, either). Another two bedrooms (20 sq.m. each) are located on the ground floor, in the nearby compartment of the villa's left ring, each having its separate passage to the main courtyard, too. One more bedroom (22 sq.m.) is located in the far compartment of the villa's left wing that is in fact a separate apartment—there is a separate entrance, separate living room (32 sq.m.) and a small patio (15 sq. m.). The seventh bedroom (12 sq.m.) is located in a separate part of the villa located behind the garage (the garage area is 28 sq.m. so it can contain one car). This part of the villa also includes one more room (14 sq.m.). According to the architect, this is a small apartment for servants, as most of the rich Spanish homes certainly contain a similar premise. This apartment has a passage to the kitchen (14 sq.m.). Nearby, the boiler room (4 sq.m.) is located. In the central part of the villa, there are an entrance hall (30 sq.m.), winter living and dining room (47 sq.m.) connected to the office (16 sq.m.), internal courtyard (16 sq.m.), also having passage to a covered terrace (50 sq.m.) that is divided into two zones—summer lounge and summer dining room. In front of the main entrance to the villa, there is a stone-paved courtyard closed from prying eyes with a wall with high gate, area 180 sq.m. (not included into the total area of the villa). Along the perimeter of the yard, there is a covered gallery with arches. The villa is surrounded by a thick garden with lawns, flower beds, old oaks, palm trees, cypresses and other tall trees. The garden features a swimming pool 12×4 meters surrounded by a rest area with a gazebo and arboured shaded gallery. In another part of the garden, there is a children's playground with swings, horizontal bars and other equipment. The far corner of the garden features another seating area—a covered gazeba. The villa is located in "Kings and Queens" part, front line of golf course, close proximity to the main street of Sotogrande—Paso del Parque, but, at the same time, is at the very end of the blind pass adjacent to the street, thus this place is always very quiet. One of the plot's sides (area 0.34 ha) goes out directly to the local golf club (Club Real de Golf Sotogrande). This is the professional-grade 18-hole course which is in the top three of the best golf playing course in Spain and top 15 best in Europe. This course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, the famous golf course architect of the US, who has also designed the second, more famous golf course in the neighborhood—Valderrama (top 100 best courses in the world). The villa stands on a small hill, thereby having an excellent view of the golf course (as distinct from other villas in Sotogrande even those directly adjacent to the golf course). The second floor of the villa also offers a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside, mountains and sea. About Sotogrande Sotogrande is a semi-closed guarded club-type residential development on the Mediterranean coast in the south of Spain, approximately 20 kilometers from Gibraltar. Sotogrande has the reputation as the most prestigious resort in Spain. This resort was founded in the early 1960-s by a large Philippines American-born businessman Joseph McMicking, whose wife belonged to the noble kin Zobel—one of the most noble families of the former Spanish colonial aristocracy in the Philippines. McMicking decided to make a gift for his wife: to develop a super-elite settlement in her historical homeland, Spain, so that this area would look like Beverly-Hills in Los-Angeles, and so that here his family and the families of their closest relatives and friends would have luxury estates. And this was done. First, they made a golf course to be further surrounded by the developed settlement. And then, around this settlement, there appeared an extensive infrastructure: a large yacht port with moorings, hotels, shops, restaurants, cafes; several golf courses, a beach club, two tennis clubs, riding school, one of the world's largest centers for polo competitions. Thanks to polo, being ‘royal' sport, Sotogrande became the place for frequent visits of representatives of several European dynasties. Here is the place to spend time for power players—celebrities from the worlds of politics, big business, sports. There is a private international school with education in English which graduates can enter the best American and European universities. Sotogrande is a place of quiet, sedated, respectable family vacations. There is no classic nightlife here—all kinds of clubs, cabarets, gambling clubs. But, if you like, you can reach Puerto Banús and Marbella, which are rich in these things, quickly in about 30 to 40 minutes driving down the excellent high-speed toll road. In winter, in a little bit more than two hours, you can come to the ski resorts of Sierra Nevada. Sotogrande and its surroundings are located in the place with a unique microclimate like in southern California—usually sunny weather on the New Year's, with daytime temperatures rising past +20, but summer here is not as hot as in most other resorts in the Spanish south. It is better to go to Sotogrande either through the airport Málaga (an hour's drive), or to Gibraltar through London. You will need maximum 20 minutes to come to Sotogrande from Gibraltar airport by taxi.
